My experience with last year's Asus A14 was so fantastic that I bought the A16 with the X2 Extreme CPU as well. But what a disappointment. The battery life is only around 7 hours, whereas the A14 easily lasted 19 of the promised 28 hours.
Moreover, there is something seriously wrong with the BIOS firmwares of this laptop; since version Qualcomm BSP UX3607 1.306, the laptop no longer boots up (just a black screen and the fans going into overdrive until the battery dies).
That BIOS was released in April, and subsequently, two more versions came out in May (1.308 & 1309) that did not solve the problem.
I hardly dare use this laptop anymore because I lose data every time this happens. Because according to ASUS, the only solution is to press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. In my opinion, that is NOT a solution. Firstly, you lose all your data and open apps, and secondly, it causes damage to the RAM and SSD.
