I enjoy clear highs and mids and surprisingly solid bass. Thanks to this good balance and the 2.0 channel sound, I can easily distinguish between the different band members when playing a rock song. For instance, I can hear the bassist's bass line and every small detail of a guitar solo. The Music Studio 5 has a surprisingly high volume, but it compromises on sound quality the higher you turn the volume up. Because of this, I recommend the speaker primarily for background music or movies at a low or medium volume. Think, for example, of background music for a birthday party, where you want to hear music but still be able to talk to your guests.

Unique Dot design The most striking feature of the Music Studio 5 is its design. Samsung calls it "The Dot," conceived and designed by Erwan Bouroullec.
