Sturdy casing: thanks to the metal casing, the piston machine lasts a long time and feels sturdy.
No hot water dispensing: without a hot water function, you'll use a separate kettle for tea or to warm up your cup.

Description

Make milk specialties with the Philips Baristina BAR308/60 Zwart + Melkopschuimer. This semi-automatic espresso machine has a milk frother that froths milk by itself. This way, you can choose the type of foam and the temperature for a cappuccino or latte macchiato. This espresso machine has a built-in tamper. As a result, it tamps the coffee evenly for a consistent taste. The espresso machine is made of metal. That means it feels sturdy, lasts a long time, and stays stable while you turn in the portafilter.

Top device

Chic color
Small size
User-friendly

Our first piston machine, what a great machine, low maintenance, the machine is small and makes some noise when grinding the beans but it is not shocking. You have to find the coffee beans yourself.

Never going back to coffee capsules

More sustainable and cheaper than cups
Design
The device is made of lightweight material and slides easily.

The piston and bean grinding system of the Baristina is top-notch and also works more easily and smoothly than the coffee capsule machine we had. Does the water (in the nice-large reservoir) run out while you are brewing coffee? Normally, a capsule would be wasted, but the Baristina simply continues where it left off once you have refilled it. And coffee made with freshly ground beans tastes much better, too.

Easily make delicious espressos

Ease
Hot coffee
Cleaning the filter

If you love espressos and lungos, this is perfect. You get good, hot coffee at the touch of a button. I am glad that you can choose which beans you like. The machine grinds and prepares the coffee. The only thing you have to do more than with capsules is clean the filter holder. It is really very easy for good coffee. Highly recommended.
