The Bose QuietComfort Ultra is a great pair of headphones with top-class noise cancellation and natural sound. You can listen to music wherever you want without being disturbed. The sound is balanced and therefore sounds very natural. I don't need to make any adjustments in the Bose app. Unfortunately, the headphones are not water-resistant.

Top-class noise cancellation As the name suggests, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra features top-class active noise cancellation. The headphones dampen ambient noise and let you immerse yourself in your favorite music. The ear cushions also have an over-ear design, meaning I hear even less around me. The result? I work focused, don't get distracted, and enjoy the peace and quiet. My colleagues have to tap me on the shoulder if they have a question.

Balanced and realistic sound I am impressed by the sound of these headphones. Whether I am listening to soft soul or heavy metal music, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is balanced above all else. I hear the high notes of a saxophone, guitars cut through the mix with clear midtones, and I follow the bass line at the same time. Especially in heavier music, the bass is often overpowering, but that is not the case with these headphones. The bass is loud and clear, but always remains distinct. This is also the case at lower volumes. I really appreciate this, because many headphones only really hit their stride at higher volumes.

User-friendly design These headphones not only sound good but are also very user-friendly. After pairing the headphones with my devices, a single button press is enough for a quick connection. I connect the headphones to multiple devices simultaneously using multipoint pairing, so I don't switch between my phone and laptop. There is a handy Bose app with an equalizer, which allows me to adjust the sound to my liking. However, in practice, I use it infrequently. The headphones sound balanced right out of the box. Does someone ask for your attention while you are listening to music? The headphones automatically pause your music when you take them off. I find this a nice addition, because I don't look for my phone when I get tapped on the shoulder.

I bought the headphones to enjoy music and movies undisturbed at home and on the plane. I'm amazed at how good the noise canceling is, even when listening to an audiobook where every second isn't filled with sound. The Immersive audio modes are also very nice. You can choose Dynamic if you're moving, which I find enjoyable. The sound quality is also more than satisfactory. I've already sat on the couch a few times with goosebumps because the music fills my ears so well. I think the battery lasts long enough. I won't be able to listen to 30 hours straight.
