This toothbrush gives me a lot of insight into my brushing habits while brushing. Via the light ring, the display, and the Sonicare app, I can see exactly which parts of my teeth need extra attention. Thanks to the many settings and accessories, this feels like a comprehensive model to me, although charging does take a relatively long time.

Extensive feedback The toothbrush looks beautiful and luxurious. While brushing, I receive handy feedback via the light ring at the bottom of the handle. With yellow and blue light, I can see which areas I have already brushed well enough and which areas I still need to give some extra attention to. After brushing, I check the display to see exactly which parts of my teeth I can brush even better. I can also adjust the feedback. When I set the light ring and the display to brushing pressure, I can see if I am brushing with the right pressure. I also connect the toothbrush to the Sonicare app. In it, I receive even more detailed information about my brushing session. For example, I can view a mouth map and receive tips to improve my brushing technique.

Many settings I can easily adjust the toothbrush via the display. For example, I change the brushing mode by swiping across the screen. This works well for me, and I don't have to keep pressing multiple buttons. I can choose from 7 different brushing modes. For instance, I select a mode for sensitive teeth, healthy gums, or a thorough cleaning. For each brushing mode, I can also choose from 3 intensity levels. This allows me to easily adjust the toothbrush to my teeth and always select a setting that feels comfortable.

Handy accessories The toothbrush comes with a charging glass and a rechargeable travel case. After brushing, I place the toothbrush in the glass. It sits neatly in my bathroom and charges immediately. However, the charging feels reasonably slow to me. Because I put the toothbrush back in the glass after every brushing session, it is always ready for the next use. When I go away for the weekend, I take the toothbrush with me in the travel case. I store it safely in there and charge it on the go. This means I don't have to take a separate charger with me.

I mainly noticed that I often brushed a bit hastily in the mornings. With this Sonicare, that is now much more relaxed. The guidance during brushing helps me distribute my air better across my mouth, and I don't have to keep looking at the clock. It is also nice that you can easily adjust the intensity. I usually use a slightly softer setting in the evening than in the morning.

The brush itself feels sturdy and luxurious without being heavy. After brushing, my teeth feel really smooth and fresh, especially at the back where I normally have more difficulty reaching. The battery lasts more than long enough for me, and I don't have to keep putting it on the charger. The only thing I find a bit excessive are the many settings. Ultimately, I only use a few of them. Otherwise, it is primarily a toothbrush that makes daily brushing just a little easier.

I am very satisfied with the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 in Midnight Green. From the very first use, I noticed a difference compared to my old toothbrush. My teeth feel much smoother and cleaner after brushing. The different brushing modes are very pleasant, as they allow you to choose what suits you best. I also find the pressure sensor a handy feature, especially because it prevents you from brushing too hard. The battery lasts a long time, so daily charging is not necessary. Additionally, the Midnight Green version looks stylish and luxurious. The toothbrush feels sturdy and high-quality. The price might be a bit higher, but in my opinion, you get excellent quality in return. Definitely recommended!
