Mac Studio M5 (2026): powerful M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips

Mac Studio M4 (2024): older Apple M4 chips
The Apple Mac mini (2024) has the older M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips. These are less powerful than the new chips of the Mac Studio (2026) chips. They have fewer processor cores and fewer graphic cores. Due to this, demanding calculations are slower, or you can work less smoothly in complex 3D files. You can choose from the same amount of RAM. Choose 96GB RAM to use all your demanding apps at the same time and effortlessly switch between them.
Design and connectors
The design and the connectors of the Apple Mac Studio (2026) haven't changed. There are still 2 Thunderbolt connectors and an SDXC card slot at the front. With this, you can easily connect accessories or transfer data between devices. On the back, there's an Ethernet port for wired internet and a 3.5mm connector for your headphones. With the HDMI connector, you can easily connect an external screen. You can connect other accessories to the 2 USB-A ports and 4 Thunderbolt ports without problems.
