The most common problems of Bosch and Siemens dishwashers

Your Bosch or Siemens dishwasher no longer works properly and displays an error code. That's annoying. You don't need a buildup of dirty dishes and glasses, of course. Fortunately, there are a number of things you can do yourself to get your dishwasher working again. Below, you can find out what the error codes mean. And we'll help you with the solution.

Bosch dishwasher error E01

Error E01, E02, E03, E04, or E05

In case of the errors E01 through E05, the dishwasher has a technical error. You can solve this problem when you reset the dishwasher. Turn the appliance off, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on.

Error E14, E16, E17, E18, or E32

Error E14, E16, E17, E18, or E32

The dishwasher has an error with the water supply. Follow the steps below.

  1. Fully open the water supply and check the water pressure. Fill a bucket with water. If the water supply works well, it should supply 10L water per minute. Isn't that the case? Contact a plumber.
  2. Check if the supply hose is straight without bends or twists.
  3. Check the filter and clean it under the faucet with a small brush.
Why doesn't your dishwasher get water?
Bosch dishwasher error E22

Error E22

Does your dishwasher display the error E22? The filter is blocked. Remove it from the dishwasher and gently clean it under the faucet with a brush. Place it back afterwards. We recommend to clean the filter regularly, so you avoid this problem.

Bosch dishwasher error E24

Error E24 or E25

Do you see the error code E24 or E25? In these cases, the dishwasher doesn't drain the water properly. Remove any kinks or bends from the supply hose, and make sure the water can flow freely. Also make sure that the filter and the drain pump aren't clogged and clean them. If you've just bought the dishwasher, make sure the cover is removed from the trap. Remove it if necessary and restart a cycle.

Error E27 or E90

Error E27 or E90

In case of error E27 or E90, there's a problem with the power voltage instead of your dishwasher. Check the plug and the socket. Insert the plug of a different product into the socket, for example. You can also contact an electrician.
