What's the AEG AirDry function?
An AEG dishwasher with AirDry function fries your dishes with the air outside of the dishwasher. The appliance opens the door ajar during the last part of the cycle. Because this cools the hot air in the dishwasher, your dishes dry better and more energy-efficient. In this article, we'll tell you all about this function.
Better drying result
An AEG dishwasher with AirDry automatically opens the door about 10cm at the end of the dishwasher cycle. This is a ventilation drying method. Thanks to this function, plates, cutlery, and plastic containers dry better than with a closed-door system.
Energy-efficient drying
The AirDry function saves energy during the drying cycle. When the door opens, the hot humid air escapes and the cold dry air makes its way into the dishwasher. As a result, your dishes air-dry. So the dishwasher doesn't use energy during the last part of the cycle.
