You get a 2-year warranty on a refurbished iPhone and the included accessories. This warranty is valid when something breaks and isn't your or anyone else's fault. The warranty covers this, and we'll repair it for free. For example, when the battery won't charge anymore.
What isn't covered by the 2-year warranty?

How does the repair work?

You don't have to pay any repair costs if the cause is covered by the warranty.
