I bought this crosscut saw as a replacement for my Metabo KGS 216M. I wanted a crosscut saw that could cut wide pieces, but that didn't take up much space. Other crosscut saws in this price category have enormous sliding arms, which means that the saw is quickly about 70 cm deep: not ideal for the average workbench of 60 cm deep. And if you are looking for a compact crosscut saw, you will quickly find a device without a guide rail: so with a limited sawing width.
