Kenwood Chef XL KVL4100
anything for a smile
Bought this unit to knead most of all bread dough and pizza dough but the kneading hook is a disaster! The dough is kneaded way too little and just hangs around the hook. I am forced to buy another hook that does the job well, but this is really not the point when you buy a new machine! The noise that the engine makes in 2020 could also be much better, at high speeds it is best to put in earplugs! This can all be done much better for a brand like Kenwood, and that price range.

After having worn out a few devices from other brands, I immediately noticed the very sturdy construction. The strong mount makes much less noise than the previous one. I'm sorry I didn't buy this rock-solid Kenwood sooner.

According to our stand mixer expert
Thanks to the powerful motor, you can knead heavy dough, like bread or pizza dough.
The mixing bowl has a large size, so you can make batter for 2.5 cakes at once.
You can use the pulse function to briefly increase the mixing speed for an extra smooth result.
You’ll need a separate kitchen scale, because the mixer doesn’t have a built-in scale.
There’s no extra mixing bowl included, so you can’t easily make several batches in a row.
