I bought this laptop for online school (university). The battery life is really good, if the laptop is on all day and if I have online lessons, it also lasts all day. The fans work well. They are never blowing hard and the laptop does not heat up quickly, and when it does get warm it is at most room temperature. For online lessons I use programs such as Microsoft Teams, Kaltura and Zoom and this laptop can handle that very well. The design may not look very nice on the product photos, but in reality it is not that bad. I had to get used to the keyboard a lot. Before this I had a Dell and an HP and this keyboard is a bit flatter and the keys are a bit further apart in my opinion. Still, it is a nice keyboard with which you can type quickly and error-free. The sound sounds a bit hollow, but this is (for me) no reason not to buy the laptop. If you put on headphones or have earphones in, you won't be bothered by this. Watching Netflix or lectures without earphones is also just fine. The laptop is light and easy to take to school. The fingerprint scanner does not work half the time. You really need to make sure the scanner is clean and so is your finger. It's annoying to pay attention to that all the time, but it's a handy addition to a laptop.
