According to our monitor expert
Thanks to the 1 ms response time and 100Hz refresh rate, you'll experience extremely smooth images.
With an ultrawide monitor, you can see more of the playing field if the game supports this.
The 3440x1440 resolution ensures sharp images during gameplay.
This monitor doesn't have integrated speakers to play the sound of your games.
The AOC CU34G2/BK doesn't have an IPS panel, so colors are more blurry with a large viewing angle.
Get fully immersed in your favorite games with the AOC CU34G2/BK UltraWide gaming monitor. Thanks to the 21:9 aspect ratio and the 34-inch screen, you can see more of the playing field. You don't have to compromise on pixels, since this large screen has a resolution of 3440x1440. The curved screen bends around your field of vision so that you're at the center of your game. The CU34G2/BK refreshes 100 times per second, so you have a smooth image when gaming. Thanks to the 1ms response time, you won't be bothered by ghosting. Set up FreeSync to adjust the refresh rate to the number of fps your video card produces. You can tilt, rotate, and adjust this monitor in height for a comfortable sitting position during gameplay.
Note: for QHD gaming, you need a powerful video card, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU or AMD Radeon RX 5000 series GPU, an Xbox One, Xbox Series X or S, or a PlayStation 5.

Design
This "budget" ultrawide was a great purchase for me. This monitor gives a lot for the money (compared to most other 34 inch models that are extremely expensive). The monitor gives the best of both worlds, the speed and responsiveness of a game monitor, but the functionality, dexterity and "immersiveness" of an ultrawide. Due to the large pixel ratio, a decent graphics card is a must. I myself still use a GTX 1060 6gb, this is not an extremely new and powerful card, but with graphics adjustments I was able to play all games so far. This is also the reason why the 100hz was sufficient for me, my gpu would not do justice to the added value of 144hz. To get 1ms (in my experience) the overdrive has to be on high, but this causes ghosting to occur, on weak and medium I didn't experience any problems. Until now, this monitor gave a tear-free experience due to the G-sync compatible support.

Great screen and picture. The design is not quite for me but it is not very striking red. The menu and button operation could be better. 34" and 1440p ensures that you can work properly with two windows, a relief compared to the 24" I had before.
