According to our monitor expert
Because of the 4K resolution, you have a razor-sharp image while gaming.
Thanks to the 120Hz and DisplayHDR 1000, you'll experience a smooth and colorful image.
The integrated soundbar produces a much better sound than other monitors.
Do you like to sit at your desk? Then this large monitor isn't suitable.
Its response time of 4 miliseconds is much longer than that of many other gaming monitors.
Play all of your console games with a razor-sharp quality on the Philips 558M1RY. This giant 55-inch monitor has a 4K resolution. This produces detailed characters, landscapes, and cutscenes. Thanks to the high refresh rate of 120Hz, you'll have a very smooth gaming experience. The 558M1RY also has DisplayHDR 1000, which is the best type of HDR that is currently available. That way, you'll be gaming with beautiful colors, a high brightness, and a high contrast ratio. Do you have an AMD video card? That means the FreeSync Premium can match the refresh rate to the fps of your video card. The integrated soundbar with subwoofer from Bowers & Wilkins provides an excellent sound for both your gaming binge or binge watch. Are you seated higher or lower than the screen? No problem, because the monitor is tiltable. Note: do you want to game with 120Hz on 4K? Connect your monitor via DisplayPort.
It is a great replacement for multiple screens on your desk. Works very well and has a great picture. Easy to calibrate for photo editing. The disadvantage has already been mentioned that there is no control on the screen, do not lose the remote control!
