Bought this washing machine based on the many good reviews and because it had everything we were looking for on paper. Unfortunately, that was somewhat disappointing.
Purely in terms of "hardware", the washing machine is fine so far. Nicely large capacity, not too loud, good washing and drying results, some follow-up possible via the app and you also get a notification when it's ready.
The automatic dosing is a dime on its side, especially since you can only use one type of detergent and fabric softener. If you do most laundry with one and the same combination, the automatic dosing is so easy, the drawer is big enough for several weeks and you don't have to worry about it anymore. But it is of course not always that simple: it is wise (and also explicitly recommended by Samsung) to use specific detergent for dark/white/delicate laundry, for example, and then it becomes a mess. You have to enter a somewhat hidden menu to set that you don't want automatic release and have to turn the wheel and press a lot to get something so simple right, while these functions are as essential as say the temperature. You can't even use another fabric softener, it's either the one in the reservoir or nothing. It also always seems to remember the last setting in terms of detergent and fabric softener dispensing, so you have to put everything back on your next wash.
