A somewhat more extensive review, because I could find so little useful information myself (I looked through several manuals, a lot of work!)
First of all: it's great to get your laundry out of the machine dry. Until now I always had two machines (miele), now this one. The disadvantage that is often mentioned with combinations is that you have to do smaller laundry — but until now (about 2 weeks after purchase) I do the laundry more easily (in the morning, fold or hang it in the evening. baskets of wet laundry for the dryer). We are 3 people.
Finding the right programs is a bit of a search.
— Power wash fine for 5 kg of dry sheets and t-shirts, dry and washed within approx. 3 hours, but 5 kg of towels need a Cotton program of 5-6 hours to dry well. Haven't been able to find out how to set it 'gently' yourself, but temperature and speed can easily be set on the display.
— Minimum iron (with steam, 'pre-ironing') also works well with small loads, for linen and cotton shirts. Significantly saves on wrinkles.
— wash only: basically as usual on my very old Miele washing machine, only quieter.
— Haven't done a really small load ('single') yet, so don't know how short or long that will take.
The front with controls looks simple, but that's just an appearance. You have to make 3 types of settings: the rotary knob, the display (scrolling up/down through menus: different extra washing programs, extra functions, temperature and speed, wash-dry-or-both are set here) and the sensor buttons (this is called touch buttons). ?) (options like 'single', 'extra functions' etc.). Because each option on the rotary knob and the keys allows different choices on the display, it is sometimes a bit of a puzzle. I think I now have a routine of what's relevant to me. It may be a shame that you leave the other functions behind a bit, given all the options, but I don't mind.
For the right drying result you have to look for the right programs, otherwise not completely dry. I also notice that the device gives off a lot of heat to the room in the dryer mode. Cooling is done with water, the hot water is flushed away, straight into the drain — more could be done with a good setup in the house (I'll think about that later).
In any case, I am very satisfied, I have never had such quiet and excellent washing + drying options.
