With the Miele G 7297 SC Vi XXL built-in dishwasher, I can clean my dishes quickly and energy-efficiently. I barely hear that it is on and I divide it conveniently. I do miss the floor projection or app to see how long the program will last.
First impression
The dishwasher looks luxurious with its yellow Miele accents. It also feels sturdy and solid. I easily adjust the height of the baskets. This goes smoothly. What strikes me is how smoothly the baskets move in and out. Even with a full load this is no problem.
Quiet at 43 decibels
The first thing you notice when the program starts is how quiet the dishwasher is. I barely hear that it's on. That's nice, because I have an open kitchen and regularly run a program while working from home. I don't plan around my meetings like that. I just don't see how long the program will last. The dishwasher does not have a floor projection and I do not connect it to the app. I do hear a signal at the end, so I know it's ready.
Fast with QuickPowerWash
I often only find out that I no longer have clean dishes when I grab my last plate or mug. With QuickPowerWash I quickly have clean glasses, pans and cutlery again. This program takes 55 minutes, so I can fill my kitchen cupboards again within an hour. I choose to do this by shortening the Quick65 program. Also nice: the water consumption in the program is a lot less. I can see how much water and energy I use per program. Handy, because it allows me to choose whether I want to wash dishes economically or quickly. I choose from 9 programs.
Energy efficient
I not only save on my energy costs with QuickPowerWash, but also with the dishwasher in general. With energy class A, the dishwasher is extremely economical and I save up to €550 in energy costs over its lifespan. Thanks to the ventilation drying technology, it uses little energy during drying. The door opens at the end of the program, so that my dishes dry in the cold outside air.
Convenient layout
I always find organizing the dishwasher quite a puzzle. It's a lot easier with this Miele dishwasher. I adjust the height of the middle 3D Multiflex drawer based on which dishes I put in the machine. After a nice dinner with friends, I have many large plates and pans. I then set the drawer to the highest position, so that there is enough space in the lower basket. I also adjust the width of the cutlery drawer. By sliding the left part to the middle, I make room for the long stems of wine glasses.
