According to our oven expert
Little cleaning time: thanks to the pyrolysis cleaning system, you’ll spend little time cleaning because it burns off all grease and dirt.
For oven dishes: with a solo oven, you can easily bake oven dishes and bread rolls.
Extra-crispy snacks: you can make your snacks and fries extra crispy, and prepare them more healthily with the AirFry function.
No microwave function: this solo oven doesn't have a microwave function that lets you heat up meals and leftovers.
Less stable extension: the baking sheet tilts quickly when you pull it out because it doesn't have telescopic rails.
As a fan of making pizza myself, I was very surprised by the ETNA OPZ916MZ. The special pizza zone with the included pizza plate and peel works well: in a few minutes I have a crispy base, just like from a stone oven. The oven heats up to 350°C in pizza mode. The biggest plus point for me is that I can now bake pizza at home just like I tasted it in Italy. However, heating up takes a little longer than expected. I also have to get used to the controls and it takes some time to find the automatic programs.
First impression The matt black oven has a luxurious look. I use the touch keys to turn on the oven so that the colored oven screen lights up. I use the rotary knob to select a program. I am most curious about the pizza setting. This oven comes with a special baking tray that I slide into the top insertion height. This allows the tray to reach a temperature of 350 degrees Celsius. After preheating, I easily slide the pizza into the oven with the included pizza peel. This heat bakes the pizza deliciously crispy in a few minutes. However, preheating takes a little longer than expected.
Versatile oven Although the pizza setting is the showpiece of this oven, I also use it for casseroles, home-made bread and apple pie. With the automatic programs, I don't have to set much myself. Everything is self-explanatory via the rotary knob and the clear screen. The oven is nice and spacious with 77 liters, so I can easily prepare multiple dishes at the same time on different levels.
Easy to clean and stylish in the kitchen What I also like: the oven looks sleek, with matt black metal and a sturdy handle. The inside is clearly visible thanks to the double LED lighting. And if I have used a greasy oven dish, I simply turn on the pyrolysis function. All caked-on residue burns to ash, which I then wipe away with a cloth. Do ventilate well, because it smells a bit strange during cleaning.
Extra ease of use What I noticed after baking is that the oven rack is on a telescopic rail. When baking a cake, I can easily remove the rack or a baking tray from the oven without it tipping over. Handy, because this way I can see immediately whether the apple pie is equally cooked everywhere. I also notice that this means I don't burn my hands easily on the warm interior of the oven.

To be honest, I was skeptical about the pizza setting, but it really surprised me. Within about 3 minutes, a pizza comes out with a crispy crust and well-melted topping, truly comparable to a pizza from an Italian stone oven. I hadn't expected that from a home oven.
Furthermore, the oven is simply very pleasant to use. The pyrolytic cleaning mode works well and saves a lot of time, and the included pizza peel is a handy extra. The controls took some getting used to at first, but after that, they are self-explanatory. All in all, a strong oven that does what it promises and even goes a step further.

I really didn't expect to be able to make such delicious pizzas with this oven. I was in the market for a freestanding gas pizza oven until I came across this one. At first, I didn't expect it was possible to get such high-quality pizzas from an oven, but with this one, they taste just like they came from the pizza baker himself. Love it!!!!
