eufy Omni C28

I especially like the eufy Omni C28 because the wide mop brush cleans itself and the cleaning station requires minimal maintenance. The mop brush doesn't stick out, so it doesn't get into all the corners.

Wide mop brush cleans itself The eufy Omni C28 has a wide mop brush that continuously cleans itself while cleaning. I notice that the mop stays wet and clean as it moves through the house, evenly wetting the floor and preventing dirt from being smeared. This saves me time because I don't have to rinse the mop or clean it manually in between.

Low maintenance on the cleaning station What I appreciate is that the cleaning station works largely independently. I occasionally fill and empty the clean and dirty water tanks and change the dust bag. Other than that, I don't have to worry about it much. This keeps the system working well without having to do extensive cleaning on the station itself every week.

High suction power for daily cleaning While vacuuming, I find the suction is powerful enough to pick up crumbs, dust, and hair in one go. It leaves very little behind on hard floors and low-pile carpet. It also picks up a surprising amount along edges and table legs, so I vacuum less.

Handy app for installation and routines The eufy app guides me step-by-step through the installation, allowing me to get started quickly without having to read a manual. Then, I easily set up cleaning routines in the app, for example, per room or per part of the day. I also clearly see where the robot has been and can adjust the schedule with a few taps if my schedule changes.

No tangled hair thanks to the anti-tangle brush The anti-tangle brush is a plus. I don't have to worry about hair getting tangled around the brush, which normally requires me to use scissors. The brush stays free of large clumps, allowing the robot to keep working and limiting maintenance to the occasional check and wipe.

In terms of cleaning results, we're very pleased with this product. Vacuuming is fantastic. The suction power is surprisingly good.

The only downside is that the unit comes with a vacuum bag. When it's full, you have to buy a new one. These are quite expensive: 3 for 30 euros. Which I find quite expensive. If we had known, we might have made a different choice.

Also, the appliance makes a lot of noise when emptying the dust container. You can hear it from the floor above, even though our house isn't particularly noisy.

The unit dries the mop, but this takes 5 hours! It's not loud, but it's definitely noticeable. You can also set it to 3 hours, but the warning states that there's a chance the mop won't be dry yet and will start to smell.

All in all, I'm not sure we would have bought this vacuum cleaner if we had known this. When we bought it, it wasn't mentioned, and there weren't any reviews yet.

Great vacuum and mop. Vacuums and mops simultaneously and detects rugs. Automatically returns to the base station when the dust container needs to be emptied or the mop needs to be washed. Emptying the dust container is a bit noisy, but takes a maximum of 20 seconds. The base station is nicely matte. It's in my room, but wouldn't look out of place in the living room.
