The Samsung Neo QLED QN80H is the only Neo QLED TV of 2026, and I highly recommend it. The TV features a bright mini-LED screen with full array local dimming. As a result, I can watch without problems in a well-lit room. Unfortunately, the TV does not yet have Dolby Vision support.

Bright full array screen This TV has a QD mini-LED screen and uses full array local dimming. This means that the mini-LED lights behind the screen are evenly distributed and are not just located along the edges. As a result, I watch bright, high-contrast images. At the same time, the TV uses QLED technology, allowing the TV to display brighter colors. During a cooking show, I see colorful dishes truly come to life. I estimate the TV is bright enough for most rooms. We use many lights in our test room, and even here, I experience very little trouble with reflections. In a normal living room, this is even less noticeable.

Fast and smart Tizen smart platform The Tizen smart platform of the QN80H feels the same as the version of its predecessors, the QN73F and QN82F. The system works just as fast, and I navigate through the various menus with ease. The QN80H also uses the same NQ4 AI Gen2 processor as last year, and once again, the AI upscaling is the biggest and most noticeable benefit. For example, are you watching a TV program in Full HD? Then the TV automatically increases the resolution to 4K. I find this particularly nice when watching programs from traditional TV channels. These channels often still broadcast in Full HD.
