This laptop has a QWERTY keyboard, which is different from a Belgian AZERTY keyboard. The Q and A keys are reversed on a QWERTY keyboard. The same goes for the W and Z keys. QWERTY keyboards also don't have keys for letters with accents. That's why you should only choose a QWERTY keyboard if you're used to it.

This is a very nice laptop. It is not the cheapest HP laptop, but in return you get above-average hardware specifications that you can enjoy every day. It has a beautiful high-resolution IPS screen and the laptop feels solid. With the backlit keyboard, you can create virtually any desired atmosphere, which is pleasant. I use the laptop primarily as a desktop, so in a fixed setup with a Lenovo ThinkPad docking station, external mouse, and extra monitor. Battery life is less important to me because the laptop is used in a desktop setup. If you appreciate beautiful hardware and prioritize durability over a lightweight laptop, then this HP Omen is a good choice.

According to our laptop expert
Game without DLSS in Full HD: with the RTX 5070 Ti video card, you can play all games in Full HD and light games in Quad HD.
For streaming and video editing: you can edit videos and stream your gameplay via Twitch with the Intel Core i7 processor.
For heavier editing: with 24GB of RAM, you can edit large photo and video files, and stream in Full HD.
Not for Quad HD and 4K gaming: you'll need an RTX 5080 video card if you want to play games in Quad HD.
Not for professional streaming: for professional streaming, 3D editing, or game design, you need an i9, Ryzen 9, or Ultra 9 processor.
