Philips Sonicare Series 8500 HX8513/12 Black

Lately, I had been suffering from bleeding gums quite easily, but since using this toothbrush, that is completely gone. I also find the brushing sensor very practical. I realized that I was always brushing too gently. The feedback really helps to brush better and longer. Additionally, the toothbrush has a long battery life, which is very nice. Very satisfied with this purchase!

The Philips Sonicare is a beautiful toothbrush; the inductive charging with the glass is also something that looks really nice. My teeth are clean and feel better than with my older (admittedly cheaper) toothbrush. Thanks to the sensor, you don't press too hard, and it is a real luxury toothbrush. I also have a cheaper Sonicare, and it basically does the same thing, but if you want some extra settings and a somewhat more premium toothbrush (after all, I hope you use it twice a day), then this is certainly not a bad choice.

For me, the Philips Sonicare 8500 (HX8513/12) is truly an excellent electric toothbrush. It comes with one brush head, as well as a stylish charging glass and a travel case with a USB port. There is no USB power adapter included in the box, but I don't find that to be a problem myself, since I have plenty of USB-A adapters lying around at home anyway. The battery life is also great: for me, the toothbrush lasts well over two weeks on a single charge.

What I particularly like are the 6 different brushing modes, such as clean, sensitive, and deep clean, and the 3 intensity levels. This allows me to choose what I find comfortable. The pressure sensor and timer are also handy, especially because they encourage you to pay closer attention to your brushing habits. I certainly don't use the accompanying smartphone app daily, but I do enjoy picking it up occasionally to check how I'm brushing. All in all, I am very satisfied with it. It is a nice toothbrush that does what I expect of it and that I would definitely recommend.
