Wisberg WBDR5AW9ML CondenserClean

For my laundry room, I am looking for an energy-efficient dryer with extra ease of use. The Wisberg WBDR5AW9ML CondenserClean ticks all the boxes. I save a lot of energy with energy class A, and additionally, it requires little maintenance thanks to the self-cleaning condenser. It is also nice that I can start a program remotely via the Wisberg app. This allows me to reduce wrinkles with steam and shorten drying time.

First impression The display is sleek and clear. It provides me with enough programs and functions for every load of laundry. However, I do have to press the touch buttons a bit harder, and I sometimes consult the manual at the beginning. When I open the drum door, I notice how much space there is. A large load of bedding fits in easily. The lighting gives me a good view of my laundry. This way, I don't miss a single sock, even in the dark. The display is multilingual, giving me a choice of different languages. If you speak Dutch yourself and your partner speaks English, for example, this is really handy. Wi-Fi Operation

I connect the dryer to the Wisberg app using the rotary knob. First, I tap the gear symbol. I use the rotary knob to locate the Wi-Fi symbol, which I confirm with the start/pause button. I download the Wisberg app on my smartphone and create an account. Through this app, I add my dryer and operate it remotely. This allows me to see from my home office when my laundry is dry and hang it up immediately. I also start a program while out and about.

CondenserClean The dryer stays clean with CondenserClean. Thanks to the self-cleaning condenser, I have less maintenance and the dryer continues to blow powerfully. This ensures my laundry dries better and requires little attention.

SwiftDry & CreaseControl With SwiftDry, I shorten a few programs using the boost function. This allows me to finish drying faster. Handy when I have a small load of slightly damp laundry. I also dry a small load quickly with Quick dry 59'. With this, my shirts are dry within an hour. For fewer wrinkles, I turn on the CreaseControl steam function. The steam relaxes the fabric fibers, making my wrinkled shirts feel smoother.

After exactly one dry wash E20 error. It turned out to be irreparable. Furthermore, there were no parts in stock. Tomorrow I am getting my AEG... With the Wisberg brand, I'm done with it!

The machine dries well. The bedding program is nice and dries the fitted sheets well. However, it is a pity that this function, among others, and others we use often, can only be selected via the app.

There are program options on the machine itself for, for example, Baby Clothes, Delicate, Wool, and Refresh.

But these are programs that our family does not use on a daily basis.

For almost all the programs that we could select on the machine itself with our previous dryer (a Miele), we now have to use the app. This is inconvenient if everyone in the family uses the machine.

Perhaps a tip for the developers: Create about 5 function buttons on the machine that the user can link a program to (once) via their app. That would increase efficiency.

Cleaning the lint filter is a bit awkward because the fine filter is built inside the coarse filter. I have a feeling that this will break at some point in the future. However, we have not had the machine long enough to say anything about lifespan or reliability.
