The AVM FRITZ!Box are advanced WiFi routers for at home. If you choose a FRITZ!Box with built-in modem, you replace your current DSL modem or cable modem. The AVM FRITZ! router with modem will make a connection with your provider directly. There are also FRITZ!Box routers which you connect to your fiber optic connector. Thanks to FRITZ!OS, the AVM routers have advanced options, like a built-in VPN server and network storage. You can also control smart home devices from FRITZ! with your router, and the FRITZ!Box is a telephone exchange. That's because you can connect every DECT phone to the AVM FRITZ!Box.
