At a speed of 1,400RPM, about 50% residual moisture stays behind in your laundry. This liter percentage remains per kilo of laundry after the spin cycle. The higher the RPM of your washing machine, the drier the laundry comes out of the drum. With a 1,400RPM washing machine, less residual moisture is left behind than with a 1,200RPM washing machine. If you want to save more energy, it's advisable to look for a 1,600RPM washing machine. When you put clothes in the dryer, it doesn't have to dry for a long time.
