With a 5W charger, you only get 17% in that same time. An iPhone fast charger works via Power Delivery and has an oval USB-C port. You get a charging cable with your new iPhone. Don't have one yet? Choose a charger with USB-C to Lightning cable. This cable fits on fast chargers, but not the old USB-A chargers.
