Unpacked laptop. Immediately impressed by the design of the top, very clean. Made of some kind of plastic/hard plastic. Doesn't feel cheap. The construction of the laptop is solid, but not too heavy so it is easy to carry. You go through the setup of the laptop quickly, after which you immediately set up MSI software and installed programs and games.
I use the laptop for Adobe software even though they recommend this laptop as a "top class gaming laptop". Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc. Photoshop works very smoothly without any hitches. After Effects ditto ditto. Although I haven't tested the rendering yet. For powerful tasks such as a large PSD file or rendering. Should I put the laptop in performance mode? All power goes to the CPU and GPU, so it gets hot and makes noise. Although I don't think it bothers me that much.
Games also tested. Fortnite, Minecraft and Rocket League, the laptop is finally too powerful for it. He plays all 3 games easily on Ultra settings (60 fps). I have tested other games such as a GTA 5 or a CSGO, but in my opinion he could also play this easily.
Storage is actually enough of it. In my opinion, a 1TB SSD is enough for someone who is going to study at a design course and wants to play a bit of games. SSD is very fast and laptop boots to Windows within 5 and 7.5 seconds.
Sound of the laptop is reasonable, you can compare it a bit with a mid/top class TV speaker, at least that's how it sounds.
In terms of inputs, there could have been 2 extra USB connections for me, but this is my opinion.
Summary, if you want a powerful all-round laptop for a study where you want to perform powerful tasks and also play games, here you go.
So top class.
