Edifier M60 Black

Simply a great set of speakers for a desk setup. I bought these for my home (work) office. I'm critical of my hi-fi, and these speakers sound simply good, balanced, and controlled, making them a pleasure to listen to. They also provide a pleasant soundstage for online meetings. There's always a slight latency via Bluetooth (inherent to the BT protocol), but via USB audio streaming, the audio sync with video is perfect. This is the perfect way to connect a desk setup. The set is solidly built, beautifully packaged, and everything feels solid. The price-to-performance ratio is excellent, and I'd almost say a higher price wouldn't be outrageous. Any improvements? An auto-detect mode would be nice, so the set automatically goes to sleep and wakes up again when it detects a signal. Perhaps a firmware update would be helpful? Furthermore, the cable between the two speakers is a manageable length (I think it's 1.8m), but it could be a bit longer. All in all, highly recommended!

I've been searching for the "ideal" speakers at a good price for a while. These speakers replace my almost 10-year-old 2.1 system. I connected them to USB-C via my Mac Mini M1 from USB-A. This is a very good addition for the price. Standard Spotify files at 320 KBps sound good in the high and midrange frequencies. However, this doesn't really bring out the full potential of the Hi-Res. Playing ALC files, such as Adele at the Royal Albert Hall, produces really good sound and does utilize the Hi-Res. It's just a matter of time before Spotify starts offering Hi-Fi files; then these speakers will bring out the full potential of the Hi-Res. Calls via Teams (via Bluetooth) also sound good. In short, I should have gotten these speakers sooner. A very good set for a Mac Mini.

Beautiful, sleek and compact speaker with astonishingly good sound.
