Quiet refrigerator that keeps my food fresher for longer.

My groceries stay fresh for longer in the SMEG FAB28. I use the fresh zone for vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. My apples, broccoli and salmon last extra long in this. In the rest of the refrigerator, I can easily choose a suitable layout myself thanks to the adjustable shelves and door compartments. Thanks to its striking appearance, the refrigerator fits well in my open kitchen.

Appearance The first thing that immediately struck me is of course the retro appearance of this refrigerator. The rounded corners in combination with the shiny door immediately caught my attention. There is a metal handle on the door. Thanks to the ribbed structure, I can easily open and close the door. When opening the door, I immediately see that SMEG has extended the design of the refrigerator to the interior. For example, the freshness zones have rounded corners with a chrome finish. The door of the freezer compartment is also in the same style.

Layout When I look further into the refrigerator, I notice that the glass shelves are easy to adjust. Handy, because it allows me to quickly choose a different layout for my weekly shopping. Because I always have large sauce bottles at home, I immediately place the shelves a little further apart. I can also easily adjust the layout of the door compartments. This way I always have enough room for my baking butter and fresh orange juice. It doesn't matter where I put my cheese and cottage cheese. Thanks to the air fan, it is equally cold everywhere in the refrigerator.

Fresh-keeping zones I also notice that this refrigerator has special fresh-keeping zones. Although these drawers take up quite a bit of space, they promise to keep my fruits and vegetables fresher for longer. The bottom drawer has an extra low temperature of 0 degrees Celsius. This low temperature keeps both my meat and fish fresh up to 3 times longer.

Compact freezer space I regularly prepare just too much food. That's why I like that this SMEG refrigerator has a freezer compartment. There is an extra door at the top of the refrigerator that I use to open the freezer compartment. Although this freezer compartment doesn't seem very large from the outside, I have plenty of room for bread, ice cream and frozen pizzas. Ultimately, everything I want to say fits here. Thanks to Low Frost, I don't have to defrost this freezer compartment for a while.
