top monitor but...

I wanted to build a setup and ended up with this monitor. It's very nice, but when you set it to 240Hz, it makes a kind of buzz or beep (called coil whine. This happens when electricity flows through the coil at a certain frequency, and that's what makes that sound). I should mention that you only hear this when it's really quiet. It's still there when you set it to 144Hz, but it's incredibly hard to hear when you're typing or something. I returned the first one and ordered another, but it had the same problem. It might be because I have two extension cords connected, but I don't think so. I should also mention that I'm under 18 and my hearing is still good. My parents, who are around 50, had to listen very carefully to hear it, and no, they didn't listen to loud music when they were younger.

Tip if you buy this monitor: download Lenovo Artery. You can download it from the Microsoft Store. This is an app created by Lenovo itself, so you don't have to press those silly buttons at the bottom to make screen adjustments. (I think it works for any Lenovo monitor.)
