Hisense QLED 85 inches E79S PRO (2026)

On the first evening, I immediately tried out a few movies and games to see what this Hisense excels at. With movies, what stood out most was that the colors are vibrant without looking unnatural. In dark scenes, plenty of detail remains visible, and with Dolby Vision, HDR content simply looks beautiful.

After that, I played a few rounds of Call of Duty, and that was when I really noticed how great the fast image rendering is. Movements feel fluid, and I didn't experience any annoying tearing. For me, that makes a big difference in shooters.

The TV itself responds quickly enough, and you can access Netflix, YouTube, or another app in no time. The only thing I am a bit less enthusiastic about is the sound. Voices are clear, but for a movie night, it could use a bit more power. Otherwise, you get a TV that is convincing for both gaming and movies.

At our place, the TV is usually used for multiple things in one evening. First a movie, and then I often play Rainbow Six Siege or EA Sports FC for a bit. That is precisely why I am glad that this Hisense performs well not only for movies. During gaming, the controls feel nice and direct, and fast movements remain smooth. I don't have to change all sorts of settings to play comfortably.

For movies, I particularly like the contrast. Dark scenes remain clear enough, and colors have just a bit more life than on my previous TV. Even in lighter scenes, the picture looks solid without everything becoming overly bright.

I got the hang of the controls quickly, and apps launch without a long wait. The only thing I adjusted myself was a few picture settings, because the default setting was a bit too bright for my taste. After that, I have actually hardly looked at it again. It simply does exactly what I expect from a gaming and movie TV.

I am very satisfied with this Hisense TV. Installation and setup were incredibly easy. The settings are clear and intuitive, meaning you can essentially get started right away without having to read an extensive manual first.

What I also really appreciate is the wide range of apps available by default. Additionally, it is very simple to stream content from my mobile phone to the TV. That works quickly and easily and is, in my opinion, a real plus.

The picture quality is fantastic. The image is sharp and clear, and this TV is also perfectly suited for playing games on the Xbox. The only downside I notice is that the sound sounds a bit flat to my taste. For truly beautiful, full, and spacious surround sound, a soundbar is naturally recommended. However, the difference in sound compared to a number of TVs from well-known brands we have at home was a bit more noticeable than expected.

But considering the price, this is truly a perfect TV. The price-quality ratio is excellent, and I would definitely recommend this TV. In fact, I plan to purchase several other Hisense TVs for the other rooms in this house.
