Philips Ambilight 43 inches PUS8550 QLED (2025)

Pretty okay TV for this price, but unfortunately a bit less than hoped despite the beautiful Ambilight lighting. The screen sometimes displays harsh lines in the sharpness, which sometimes looks nice and sometimes very fake and ugly. The colors are very beautiful, though, and the screen is clearly visible even in daylight! However, I was really bothered by the fact that the screen brightness could not be adjusted separately and you had to search quite a bit to figure out what each setting did. This was the biggest reason for me to return it. The sound was also quite flat, but that is to be expected for the price and isn't unpleasant to listen to. A nice TV for this price, if you can overlook the rest.

Super beautiful TV. Easy to install; the installation was finished just 10 minutes after unpacking. The Ambilight works great and is very easy and beautiful to install for a stunning effect and a truly luxurious viewing experience. The sound is also not disappointing for this price, and the screen is bright and sharp. It probably won't be very good compared to many more expensive models, but for me, it's a huge step up.

The Ambilight works great, and the sound isn't bad for the price either. Unfortunately, it is not possible to play Spotify on the television, which I find a bit of a bummer, and sometimes the picture stutters and the image quality is poor. When it doesn't do that, the picture is fine, and everything else works as desired.
