Where do you want to place the oven?

Measure the niche dimensions of the desired spot for the oven. There are 2 standard niche heights, 45 and 60cm. More compact models with a standard 45cm niche height often have the same technologies as models with a 60cm niche height.

How big is your household?

If you have a large family, you need a larger oven. An oven with a 35 to 40L capacity is useful for a 1 or 2-person household. An oven with a 40 to 70L capacity allows you to prepare dishes for a family of 3 or 4. For a large household of 4 or more people, a 70L or higher capacity is a good choice.

Which technologies do you want your oven to have?

Many AEG ovens have useful technologies. With Connected Cooking, you can connect your oven to the My AEG Kitchen app. This way, you can monitor the progress of your dish on your phone. In the Assisted Cooking kitchen help, you'll find precise cooking settings for various dishes. If your oven also has a core thermometer, you can measure the core temperature of your dish.

How do you want to prepare food?

Determine which oven functions you need. An oven with HotAir allows you to prepare multiple dishes at the same time on different levels. That's useful if you like preparing lots of food. Prefer to make a lasagna with a crispy cheese layer? Make sure that your oven has a grill function. Don't have a microwave? A combi oven is a goof choice. If you like cooking in a healthy way, a steam oven is the best choice for you. The steam retains flavors, vitamins, and colors.

Do you want an oven with a cleaning function?

Many AEG ovens have a self-cleaning system. As a result, you hardly have to clean the oven yourself. An oven with a pyrolysis function heats up to 500°C, which burns away dirt. You can then wipe away the ash with a cloth. An oven with catalytic walls absorbs fats, which is activated by regularly heating it up to 220°C. And an oven with hydrolysis uses steam to remove food rests from your oven walls.

Do you want an oven that heats up evenly?

This oven heats up your dish evenly and consistently. The oven also has HotAir, so the oven space heats up faster and the preparation temperature drops. This saves both time and energy. You can provide your potato gratin with a golden brown crust and ensure your chocolate cake is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
