Tip 1: check the door

Your microwave was doing fine yesterday, but today it has stopped working. If the display still works, you know for sure the device is plugged in. Check if the door of the microwave closes correctly. Remove crumbs and objects near the door and hinges. These can keep the microwave from closing, so it can't start heating.

Tip 2: check the door latches

Did you check if the door of the microwave closes properly, but does it still refuse to work? Check if the door latches are intact. The image shows what door latches look like. If one or both door latches have broken off, you can't start a microwave function.

Tip 3: use a different socket

If the display of the microphone isn't turned on, the microwave isn't getting any power. In this case, you can plug the microwave into a different socket. Preferably, a socket outside the kitchen. It's possible that the socket is defect or that you've connected too many devices to one electric circuit.
