With a Sony telephoto lens, you can capture far-away subjects up close. For example, you can photograph athletes from the sideline or animals from a distance with a Sony telephoto lens. Thanks to the large zoom range, you can capture details that are hard to see with the naked eye. Some telephoto lenses have a large zoom range, which are called super telephoto lenses.
