With a NAS for home use, you can store all your movies, photos, and documents in your own cloud. Determine how many slots your NAS should have. The more slots you have, the more hard drives you can place. There are also ready-made NAS drives with a built-in hard drive. Choose a NAS with space for 2 or more hard drives if you want to create a RAID setup. In RAID mode, you can save files extra safely and/or extra fast. Do you like to stream movies? You want a NAS with Plex support. This allows you to wirelessly play movies on your NAS via your TV, smartphone, or tablet. For streaming movies, it's best to choose a NAS with a Quad-Core processor and at least 2GB RAM.
