Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our monitor expert
Sharp image: you can clearly see small details on the screen thanks to the Quad HD resolution.
Game smoothly: you can see fast-moving images smoothly while you game thanks to the 240Hz refresh rate.
Quick on screen: you can see fast motion sharply thanks to the 0.4-millisecond response time.
DisplayPort required: you use a DisplayPort cable for 240Hz gaming instead of an HDMI cable.
Limited viewing angle: colors look less vivid because of the VA panel when you sit at an angle to the screen.

The 32m2n8900 is a real gaming monitor that - unlike what is stated here - provides 240hz on both HDMI connections and the DisplayPort.
For gaming in HDR, this is really next level. Unfortunately, no Dolby Vision support.
If you are going to use this monitor (also) in combination with a PlayStation 5, this monitor is great. The PlayStation detects your monitor and automatically adjusts the image to HDR. Don't forget to set the game to 120 Hz on the PlayStation. So you have to check with every game whether there is a 120 Hz option available to make optimal use of this monitor.
However, there are a few things that are important if you are going to use this monitor:
Unlike an OLED television, this monitor does not automatically switch to HDR when you watch HDR content. So you can turn HDR on or off in Windows. If you also use this monitor for other purposes such as working with Word or browsing the internet, it is best to turn HDR off. The disadvantage is that the brightness of this monitor is not really great and that the color white can always be a little bit yellow or cream in color. Due to the fact that this is an OLED panel, burn-in can be a possibility. You do have a three-year warranty for this. Very annoying with this monitor is the message of the pixel Refreshing that you get on the screen every four hours. You can turn it off, but then the warranty expires according to the user manual. With this monitor, Philips has forgotten that there are also Mac users. The software that you can download for this monitor can only be used on a Windows machine. This means that the firmware, which is not yet available, can only be downloaded via Windows. Shame on you Philips!
Also handy with this monitor is the supplied bracket to attach it to the wall if necessary. Furthermore, all cables are neatly supplied.
