This doesn't really matter to me. I usually do my laundry at night and I'm not in a hurry then. I prefer the washing machine to be very economical, which is the case with this program.

No noise issues If I do a load of laundry during the day, I do it quietly. Even when the washing machine is spinning. With a noise level of no more than 72 decibels, I can work quietly at home at the kitchen table. So I don't mind turning on a program when I have an online meeting.
