With the Smartwares FSM-12400 3-pack smoke detectors, you'll be aware of smoke development or fire in the house right away. Spread the smoke detectors over 3 places for better coverage. The detectors have an alarm signal of 85dB, so you can also hear the signal loud and clear in other rooms. The smoke detectors have a Sleep mode and a Pause mode to turn them off temporarily in case of a false alarm, for example. The built-in battery lasts up to 10 years, so you can use the FSM-12400 for a long time. When the battery is empty, you'll hear a short beep. This will tell you that the battery needs to be replaced.
