Laptops for social, cultural, and economics studies

Looking for a laptop for your studies? For a social, cultural, or economic degree, we recommend at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor for Windows laptops. For a MacBook, choose at least an M3 or M4 chip. That way, you can easily work in multiple tabs at the same time. If you work in Google Drive a lot, a Chromebook is the best choice. We recommend at least 256GB of storage, so you can store your documents locally. Keep the size of the laptop in mind. A 13 or 14-inch laptop fits into your backpack or on small desks more easily. A larger size laptop is more useful if you mostly use it in 1 place.
