You can use a 2-in-1 as a laptop and as a tablet. There are 2 versions. Either the keyboard can be flipped all the way around the touchscreen to use it as a tablet, or the keyboard can be disconnected from the touchscreen, leaving you with a tablet. Thanks to the Windows operating system, you can easily switch between the laptop and tablet modes of the programs you're using.
