The monitor offers better contrast with OLED than an IPS screen.
The higher resolution of 5120 x 2160 is nicely scaled down by 150% by Windows, so that the text remains readable.

This screen is the best you can get in 5K2K for the time being. However, an unnamed alternative will soon be available in Belgium with a glossy RGB stripe panel! I cannot compare these yet. The preference for a matte or a glossy screen remains a personal one. The grey banding is present, but you see it in few situations.

According to our monitor expert
Realistic images: enjoy sharp images and more screen space thanks to the WQXGA resolution.
More overview: you can see more of your game and open multiple windows side by side thanks to the ultrawide format.
Game smoothly: you can see fast-moving images smoothly while you game thanks to the 240Hz refresh rate.
Not for consoles: ultrawide monitors don't support consoles, so you'll see black bars on the sides of the screen.
DisplayPort required: you use a DisplayPort cable for 240Hz gaming instead of an HDMI cable.
