Steps in return process
What do I have to do to return my product?
1. Register your return via the online return form. 2. Prepare your product for the return trip:
- Pack it well and sturdily. If you can, use the original packaging. That way, you can keep the product damage-free, and we might be able to make someone else happy with it. No longer have the original packaging? No problem. We'll look at the condition of your returned product and determine what the depreciation is based on that.
- Ship the product in a Coolblue box or another box that closes well;
- Delete your data and account if necessary.
3. Print your shipping label and stick it on the outer box. You can find the shipping label in the email we sent you. Don't have a printer? Have the barcode on the shipping label scanned from your phone at a post office in your area. Note: this isn't possible if you return it via a parcel machine.
4. Send the package via:
- a bpost point or parcel machine in your area for free;
- one of our stores.
5. Sit back and keep an eye on the status via My Coolblue.
Do I have to pay to return my product?
No, that's free. You can put the product in the original packaging and send it in a Coolblue box or another sturdy box that can close properly. Use the shipping label in your email, print it, and stick it to the box. Bring the box to a bpost point or Parcel Locker near you or to one of our stores.
Don't have a printer? Show the barcode in the shipping label on your smartphone at a bpost point. Note: this isn't possible if you want to return it via a Parcel Locker.
What should I do if I can't print my shipping label?

Can I exchange my product with the delivery driver right away?
Sadly, that's not possible. We have to process your product in our warehouse first. As soon as we receive your product, we'll send you a new one. You'll receive it the next day. Is the new product out of stock? We'll notify you and you'll get your money back.
Can I return my package via a bpost Parcel Locker?
Absolutely. This is how it works:
- Register your return via the online return form first.
- As soon as you've done this, you'll receive an email with a shipping label. Stick this to the package and drop off the package at a Parcel Locker near you.
- As soon as the postal worker picks up your package, you'll receive a confirmation from bpost via email. We'll also send an email when we receive your package in our warehouse.
Which return options do I have?
You have 3 options within 30 days of receiving your product:
- Exchange your product for a new one for free.
- Have your product repaired.
- Return your product for free and get a refund.
Your product will always be repaired after 30 days.
You can indicate your choice in the online return form.
What if I swap my product for a cheaper or more expensive product?
Cheaper product You'll receive the remaining amount on your account within the 3 working days of us receiving the product.
More expensive product You'll receive a payment request from us for the remaining amount. As soon as we receive your payment, we'll send the product to you.
Do you pick up my product at home or do I have to return it myself?
This depends on the specific product. We offer different solutions for small products and large products.
- For most products we ask you to send the product to us yourself. Pack up the product and send it to us via a nearby bpost point or Parcel Locker or via one of our stores for free.
- In most cases, we pick up large products such as white goods and kitchen appliances at your house.
Want to know if we'll pick up your product? We'll always let you know via email after your product is registered. In addition, you can find out what type of warranty you have on the product page of your product, under 'specifications'. Does it say 'On-site service'? We'll pick up the product at your house. If it says 'Carry-in warranty', we expect you to send the product to us.
How soon will I be refunded after a return?
As soon as we've processed your return, we'll refund you within 3 working days via the payment method you used.
You might get your money back in several installments. This can be due to a number of things:
- You've paid for your order with a gift card or ecocheques, either completely or partially. You'll get the amount back as CoolblueCredit in your account.
- You've exchanged a product for a different one. In that case, we'll refund the purchase value of the first product to the payment method you used to pay the first time. Did you pay an additional amount for the replacement product? You'll be refunded that amount separately.
- You've returned multiple products. One product might be processed earlier than an other product. This can mean that you've got your money back from one product, but not from an other. In this case, we want to ask you to have some patience.
Did you pay with cash? In our stores, we refund an amount up to € 50 in cash. We'll refund any amount above € 50 to your bank account.
