With insurances for computer devices (laptops and tablets) and mobile phones, damage during business use is covered. With other products, damage, loss, and/or theft during business use isn't covered.


At Coolblue, you receive a 2-year warranty on your purchase by default. With a Backup Plan, you can extend this to cover the full term of the insurance. This means any warranty issues will only be covered by the Backup Plan from the third year onward.


Yes, any damage caused during your stay abroad are also covered by the insurance. Do note that you should always report the damage before you take any action.
